Nicole Eskenasi, Psy.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Hello and welcome!
Whatever you’re currently struggling with—anxiety, panic, OCD, trauma, insomnia, or navigating a major life transition—my goal is to help you feel more balanced, empowered, and compassionate toward yourself. I create a therapeutic space that is warm, inclusive, collaborative, and non-judgmental.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist in New York, working with adolescents and adults. I have a special focus in supporting high-achieving professionals, including healthcare providers, physicians, therapists, medical/graduate students, first responders, and others in demanding roles who are experiencing burnout, anxiety, or perfectionism. Many of my clients appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted on the inside.

Though I am a generalist, I specialize in the treatment of:
-
Generalized Anxiety & Panic Disorder
-
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
-
Work-Related Stress & Burnout
-
Trauma & PTSD
-
Sleep and Insomnia Issues
-
Life Transitions, Loss, and Identity Shifts

My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including:
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Whether you're managing intense responsibilities, dealing with emotional fatigue, or trying to reconnect with your values, we’ll work together to identify what matters most to you and build practical strategies for change. Therapy with me is active, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. I welcome clients of all ethnic, gender, sexual, and racial backgrounds to my practice.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially for those used to caring for others. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to help you explore whether we’re a good fit. Feel free to reach out via phone or email to schedule a time to connect.
